Summer STEAM Program

The STEAM framework is a meaningful way for science, technology, engineering, art, and math to relate to each other and develop reality-based, lifelong learning skills.

Eye Level Summer STEAM Program is open to children entering 1st -  6th grade. Students will take part in a variety of activities that will engage them in their education. Some may explore the oceans of the world, taking part in a journey from the tropics to the poles, from the great river deltas to the Mariana Trench. They will simulate adaptation in coral reefs, bring the California sea otter back from the brink of extinction, and track great white sharks across the open ocean. Other students may become safari journalists, learning how ecosystems around the world function and the diverse animals that live in them. From a reporter’s point of view, students will utilize their language arts skills while diving into the science behind habitats. No rock will be left un-turned as they traverse around the globe to give reports on a variety of regions from the arctic to the forest. All the activities are designed to reinforce new vocabulary words while encouraging students to become more globally involved. Students that complete the Eye Level Summer STEAM program will develop real-world skills and cultivate an interest in the planet!

Summer program dates, times, and locations will vary. Find a center near you.
